HERITAGE RAIL BIKES COMING SOON TO EAST HAVEN
A brand-new outdoor adventure is getting ready to roll on the rails in East Haven, CT!
Pending final board approval, Heritage Rail Bikes is planning to open on June 13 at the Shore Line Trolley Museum, offering guests a unique way to experience the thrill of the rails while enjoying the natural beauty of Connecticut’s shoreline.
Heritage Rail Bikes will take riders on a leisurely, approximately 3-mile round-trip journey along the rail line, giving families, friends, couples, and small groups a memorable way to spend time outdoors together. Along the route, guests can expect beautiful water views, coastal scenery, bridges, birds, and other wildlife, all from the seat of a one-of-a-kind rail bike built for a fun and relaxed ride.
Unlike a traditional bike ride, Heritage Rail Bikes offers something different: the chance to pedal directly along the rails in a safe, guided experience. It is familiar enough for almost anyone to enjoy, but unique enough to feel like a true summer adventure!
The experience is designed to be approachable and family-friendly, with a comfortable pace suitable for most riders. Children ages 8 and older can participate, making it a great outing for families looking for something new to do close to home.

Heritage Rail Bikes will operate by reservation, with tickets on sale now at HeritageRailBikes.com. Guests can reserve a rail bike for their group in advance and enjoy a scenic ride together along the coast.
The project remains subject to final approval, however opening day is currently planned for June 13. In the meantime, guests are encouraged to reserve their preferred ride time early, as space is limited and rides are expected to fill quickly.
